The battery can be recovered. contact jeff.cheaung@pylontech.com.cn. I had bricked mine and just managed to recover it today using Jeff instruction. Hopefully it also works for you

I tried sevral times to contact Pylontech
Every single mail delivery failed, even when contacting @Pylontech-Jeff.
Dont know what is happening what so ever and why it happens
Any way took battery back.
Do any Expert have a typical Pylontech Canbus Protocol. I need it uploading into a 3rd party BMS Brands. Thanks. Sorry for reply here.
As the resident “CAN-bus” protocol guy at my place, I would respectfully ask that people don’t copy the Pylontech protocol. Because when they do that, they usually copy 0x359 exactly (don’t to the identifying characters) and then you cannot distinguish between your battery and a real Pylontech battery.
Nevertheless, here’s a document that describes the protocol. It is REC’s document, but these batteries are all similar in operation… it won’t matter.
Thanks Plonkster. Seplos BMS which is have a Droplist will show the Hybrid Brands protocol for us to use. Gw,Luxpower,Deye,Pylon.

Just a suggestion… can we have CRC checksums for the firmwares… as an old flasher of phone firmwares I’m paranoid about dodgy downloads (yes even small ones).
Reading the entire thread again… the question stays… do I flash 2.2 or 2.6 or 2.7 on a us3000c (@JacoDeJongh the log makes for interesting reading on 1.8… though it probably doesn’t tell the whole story… but I’d be happy to share)
The one thing that seems relatively clear (correct me if I’m wrong here) is that I should use batteryview 3.0.24.
I gest bricked my battery after used 2h. No communication with my voltronic, i try update bettery, i think wrong firmware selected. Battery no power on, no communication via console!

Tried all UP5000 firmware supplied but no progress on progress bar.
Think Pylontech software updater is not up to scratch. From what i read it looks at your setup
it will not flash if not compatilble. As said mine went to 83% and stopped. Waited more then a hour to complete did not happen.
Think also Pylontech does have issues to many UP5000 versions availble which are not compatible with your own version.

Thanks to @Pylontech-Jeff i solve my problem with battery. I send email to him with label from battery and i received special software. I think software work only with my battery becouse i need to write serial of battery on software.
Hello, I have been reading this thread, finally got my console cable today for my US3000C (new chip).
My firmware is currently V1.4 but note in the google drive link supplied by @Pylontech-Jeff that it looks like the FW has been updated recently, possibly to V1.7 as there is a file st2.8+e21.7.zip in there.
Anyone know if 1.7 mentioned (extracts as Us_c_Nt_V1.7_Crc.bin) is for the new chip US3000C? I’ve dropped pylontech a mail as well to see what they say.
The file st2.8+e21.7.zip has a modified date of 19th September.
v1.7 is for the newer US3000C. I would just use the latest US3000C zip file and BatteryView 3.0.28(both on the google drive link) when updating the firmware as per @Pylontech-Jeff post above.

I’m new to this forum and I want to discuss about PYLONTECH batteries and also expose my experiences.
I replaced a module (30V) in a PYLONTECH US2000B battery and when I put it back in service everything went well except that it only charges at 68%. She refuses to go any further. What should I do to reset it please.

They replaced my BMS board from a US3000C into a UP5000 battery.
That on is currently on Ver. 1.7.
I need to use the Col… method under Option to make it UP5000
It works that is what @Pylontech-Jeff replaid with.

In my PYLONTECH US2000B, have 1 element with a voltage higher by the two others and the battery does not charge at 100%. Do you know a process tu egalize the 3 elements in the battery ?
