Re-installed a HDD into my TrueNAS Scale (mean physical and did the cabling,) so it’s show available in OS.
I want to run a thorough test on the drive, suggestions.

The only thing you can really do is an extended SMART test, which you can do from the user interface.
as TrueNAS Scale is linux, what about a linux option ?

That is the linux option. Unless you have a specific concern like throughput speed or capacity testing.
