Hey guys
I’ve just updated the firmware on my Victron Multiplus but it didn’t download the settings template which it is supposed to as part of the firmware update?
Firmware has updated fine but its no longer getting any charge from the PV system which I think it is supposed to do as a form of protection.
I’ve downloaded the template post firmware update, opened it with VE Configurator saved and re-upload but hasn’t made a difference, any ideas on how I get this sorted out?

If you didn’t download the config file that was sent as part of the firmware update (which contains both the old settings, and the new blank settings, and then VE.Configure will merge them), then you will have to configure the inverter from scratch. Add the ESS assistant again, set everything up again.
If you have an old .vsc file lying around with the old settings, maybe you can look there what the settings used to be. Otherwise you may have to ask your installer.
Thanks for the reply, I have an old .vsc from beginning of this month, will check it out quick and see if I can spot the differences.
EDIT: All sorted, the battery parameters and ESS config was missing in the new file I uploaded, pulled this all from the old config file, updated it and sorted, thanks for the help.
