Nice torch Louis ! I like the fact that it uses 14500s. Where do you get these torches from ?
I see thetorchguy.com used to have a torch that uses 14500 cells but it appears that torch is no longer available.
I got these about 5 years ago direct from China, but I have seen Midas sell them as well and also on Takealot for a bit more.
I still have some AA and AAA flashlights, but since 18650 and now 21700 became more affordable, I standardised on those, and internally chargeable LiPo flashlights. Managing more rechargeable types is a headache, these few I can handle.

A sprinkling of lights. Some numbers for comparison. The 21700 is 4800mAh, most of the 18650s are ~2800-3000mAh.

We have two rechargeable headlamps. One fairly cheap one, and one Ledlenser H8R.
Then we also have a lamp, an Hybrid Light Atlas 600.
We used these lights when camping. All have great battery life and lithium battery packs.
