The Sunsynk 5kW inverter at my parents house seems to have given its last breath.
My understanding is that the distributor who imported the unit is no longer dealing with Sunsynk. Who can I contact to repair as the unit is only 18 months old and still under ‘Warranty’ and used very lightly.
I am very disappointed in Sunsynk and considering replacing it with a Victron Multiplus II 48/5000/70-50 and a 250/60 MPPT and GX.
I don’t see the Sunsynk 5.23kWh battery on Victrons battery compatibility list. Is it possible to get the GX to communicate with this battery?
This is the battery I am referring to:
Just wondering, why must the battery be linked to the Venus/Cerbo?
Few of us have DIY banks with no interfacing.
If the cells ae good quality, BMS can handle them ito balancing, BMS can give you access to each cells volts, settings are set right, why not run it the same as people did for decades before on lead acid batteries?
BMS’es today has Apps, data, so it is so much easier to see what it going on per cell level.
It communicates just fine. You will have all the data you need to control charging of these batteries. Will give you a call in the morning. Discuss warranty / replacement options. Glodina mentioned that you called earlier today, I was tied up till a few minutes back.
