Hi All, I want to install a small Solis 2kW grid-tied inverter to reduce municipal consumption. I want to put it into the garage and not sure where to install.
The garage roof is quite high and I have a mezzanine installed as a storage area with a fold down loft ladder for access. I was thinking of installing the Solis above the mezzanine to conserve wall space and also to reduce cable runs. The space from mezzanine floor to roof is 1,8m as indicated in the pic. Apart from the possible safety aspect, are there any regs that would prohibit this completely?
