I am assuming that the remote console and the new dashboard are practically one and the same for monitoring your system, except, obviously the control of settings on the remote console
Not sure what you mean by:
- Remote console - the Venus one you see via a browser?
- New dashboard - on VRM Portal?
Info via the portal is ever so little slower than the locally via the Venus console.
Same core salient info on both, the portal having all the data widgets to see also.
My assumption is also that the dashboard takes a bit more processing power than the remote console (on LAN), but this is just a gut feel.
Still, I use the dashboard to “feel good” about what my system is doing the day. I use remote console when I want to change something, because the remote console over the interwebs is obviously a bit slower.
