The City of Johannesburg are making a lot of noise about SSEG registration.
Last week, in an interview, a COJ spokesman said that they had 394 registered domestic systems, and less than a 1000 registered systems in total.
The horses are refusing the offered water.
Cape Town was getting that every month (which they said they couldn’t process on the previous manual system)
The situation in COJ seems to be that they want to all these domestic installations to start reselling. And they want this to be on a TOU tariff.
But, they admit, they don’t have a system that can track what you used and what you sold and at what time of which day, so they have to look for somebody to do that for them.
But with 394 registered domestic sites well… I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t be bidding for that business. After all: I might get it!
