On what inverter is this and what settings do you have set.
I had a similar situation on a Goodwe 5048ES.
The string with the higher voltage (not the higher watter per say), usually get used first in my experience.
The fix for my situation was, to set the inverter to push back to the grid by up to 100w. This caused the inverter in my situation, to somehow kickstart that 2nd string, essentially fixing this issue for me.
That said, I don’t know if it will work for you.The voltage on your 1st string, seems to be really low, around 200v. The all-in-one inverters, usually like higher voltages on the strings, around 300-350v being ideal and anything below 200v usually struggle.
So my advice,
add more information
you can test by enabling export and limit it to 100w (for me 50w didn’t work)
add more panels to pv-1 so the voltage is closer to 300v. (this is, dependant on what inverter you have…)
I can only set 400W minimum power limit. I assume you’re changing the “Inverter power limiter” setting. Assuming your inverter settings are similar.
Uh yeah I wouldn’t want to set it to 400w, thats a bit too much for comfort if you have a prepaid meter.
If as you say it used to work fine previously, and not anymore, it sounds like you had a firmware update that changed something. Or something else changed. I would rather chase that down in your case. I am absolutely not the right person to know what to do on the 12kW Sunsynk. Maybe someone else with experience or knowledge can assist.
Can you see any errors/warnings in the log. It looks like it drops both MPPTs and then only one recovers. It could be that it’s detecting a leak and disables the MPPT.
I don’t think tinuva’s fix will necessarily transfer to a different brand, that looks like a firmware bug, and it would be quite peculiar if the Sunsynk has the same bug. (Although I suspect a lot of the firmware in both originates from a couple of TI app notes/reference designs.)
Happened late September. Hadn’t been monitoring the power production much the last couple of months. Turned on some stuff over the weekend with a very sunny day and saw my battery was being drained which I wouldn’t expect. I was expecting ~7.7kW production and noticed it was at ~5.5kW (it was dropping the 2.1kW from the 4 panels).
Since Sep the MPPT1 just remains off with a low voltage registering on it. Getting the installer out but thought the brains on here might help.
No faults or warning on the days over that time. Only warning I get is my grid disconnects say once a week or so for a minute or 2. Related?
Could it be wiring/connectors ? That’s where my mind is at.
EDIT: No firmware updates I’m aware of.

I see that someone on the other forum has: M 2005-1148 / S 18-07 / C 1001-E043 (as an update to the above).
