With Jaco passing away and Glodina taking over the business, I require some assistance I don’t want to saddle on Glodina while she tries to catch up with the business.
They did my solar installation months ago, and I transferred the SSEG application over to them, but it stalled then and so I need assistance with engineer sign off, electrical diagram etc. I want to remove this from Glodina’s list of things to do.
That is presuming the city of Cape Town doesn’t follow suit and make a coc good enough anytime soon. I have a victron and pylontech batteries, all on the approved list.
don’t know if he only does commercial scale stuff but it should be worthwhile to reach out to @Rautenk. Obviously also keep in mind that you can consider the world closed for business until 2nd week of January
Our fee for Cape Town is R4500 ex VAT for the full package (admin, inspection and engineering sign off). If you want to do the admin yourself then the price reduces to R2750 ex VAT.
Cape Town confirmed they will not follow Eskom, even people in Eskom was shocked with the announcement! So far AMEU members are maintaining their standard protocols and will do for some time (or if the standards that they want get published, it’s all a liability thing to them).
We will be back in the office full time from the 8th, so we can apply then (we will walk you through this and how to cancel any other applications, as we will have to restart the entire peocess).
Permission to Install letters are raised immediately after application and the commissioning approval can take 1 day to 3 months from when I upload the engineering report
