It seems that these two models is for a higher ambient temperature,
If Im not overlooking something, it seems to me the biggest improvement is in the performance at higher temperature’s.
at 40 degrees the 48/6500 max power is 5.7kW and the MPII 48/8000 is 5.5kW
and the 48/4500’s performance at temperature’s is the same as the MPII 48/5000

Correct. A 48/20000 model is also somewhere in the pipeline and it will also do 18kW if memory serves.

The 6k5 model is almost the same physical size as the 5kVA model, so would be a great drop-in replacement for me. I could do with an extra 2kW on tap.
Hopefully the NRS certification goes quicker this time.
