Just bought a second-hand MLT/BI-6000 PowerStar

@Gerald_db it’s possible and can be done. I’m running mine like this with all the extras added and so far the system is running with out a problem. My setup is posted up on the forum so you can go check it out. If you got any questions, post and I can check to help you.

If you still planning to run the inverter in hybrid mode, then the best will be to run the mppt via die mppt on the rear of the unit, but run the smart shunt of victron on the output/input of the inverter, so that the shunt can see what go’s in and out and the MLT can use it’s shunt to work out how much grid supply it must use.

My mppts runs via the shunt to the batteries and the inverter via it back.

I’m running a diy battery setup but i think with the freedomwon bms, it will hell allot to give info to the GX device.
