Trying to do my own wiring for I5 beams and there are two options in the manual closing or opening safety beam.
Which do I use? And i suppose where I see one cable leading to another, it means wire them together at some point?
Always use the normally closed contacts.
So when there’s no alarm the signal is on.
This is referred to as ‘fail safe’ because if the wire breaks or disconnects it will activate the alarm.
