Did I miss it, or is this article a lot of words to say nothing more than the title? There seems to be no real explanation as to how they came to that conclusion?
Toyota is certainly putting some stock into hydrogen. Now I am a bit of a Toyota fanboy, and I think it is well deserved as they do tend to make very reliable vehicles, BUT… Toyota has been rather stubborn in not joining the rest of the green collective, promising an EV-only future within the next 15 years or so. And I don’t think it is just because they are burying their proverbial heads in the sand… they know something.
Whether that will turn out to be the right bet or not, I don’t know. But the fact that they are backing hydrogen means it is not a complete dead end.
