Experience with Deye Sunsynk 50kW 3 phase hybrid inverter?

I truly don’t know. Never worked with the Deye. Know the firmware and monitoring platforms are different.

@Robl Hi Robi. To start , your initial enquiry regarding differences between Deye and SunSynk. Deye is the OEM and manufactures the SunSynk version and all the latters inverters in their factory. There is no diffeence in technical spec and or operation of the units orher than the display LCD and system software and firmware which is proprietary to SunSynk. Both have their own support structures and channels now in South Africa. Importantly, its imperative to familiarize yourself with their RMA and warranty processes.

Both products are equal in terms of operational ability and performance. Its absolutely almost compulsory that you get an accredited and qualified company trained and certified in the setup, installation and commissioning of these inverters, as rightly mentioned by @JacoDeJongh, given the specialized nature features , potential complexity with inherent risks same holds if incorrectly installed.

I can mention that we have installed and commissioned more than 40 of these units and that they, in our experience thus far have no equal to any other current offerings in SA to same features, ability, specifications and pricing, which will allow for your original statement of intent for possible addition of Gen and or Solar PV at later stage only, with ease.

Importantly, and as rightly mentoned by all participants you will need significant battery backup power, especially with stage 6 and higher loadshedding set to become the norm, and its imperative that the corect load profile be calculated for you, before you buy.

If you require more information and or discussion herein you more than welcome to contact us direct for assistance. Regards Adrian
