For those who don’t know …

… because of the above, “copy paste” that for SA … and the “other” forum started.
I know this. “Mordor” knows this. And “he” knows I know … and then I was “Deleted”.
But the WWW never “forgets”. 
The huge difference is that the Solar Electric forum is not “policed” to force everyone into the shop. It is suggested, at times recommended to go to the shop … or not.
Like we have here on EnergyTalk. Takes big cahoonas to keep the two apart.
Reminds me of what Elon Musk is now learning … engineering and social media, the twain shall never meet.

Ive asked on many occasions for them to delete my profile and posts. Just crickets, they never reply. even though its pretty much a PoPIA violation.

Guys I need to jump in here. Although We have decided not to moderate our Forum the same way said forum does, and although I was personally on the receiving end of their “wrong doing” like we see it, I feel we could all try and change our opinion a bit. Jason and myself had our first decent conversations in many years the last few days, and he has expressed his concerns and I now understand where he is coming from.
PF were once our preferred hang out but because of our difference of opinion we had to move on and create our own space for like minded members. A lot of our members came to us because they were not welcome there anymore because of their opinion. PF have and will always serve the solar community in the same way we hope to serve the solar community. Lets not criticize them for having a different choice in hardware as well as a different (Business) model than us.
For a long time I personally felt hurt by the way they treated me after all the hours and nights I have spend helping people and furthering their cause. But I had to let it go and move on. I know some of you might feel the same and have expressed their feelings here.
I ask that we as a forum let it go. They dont talk about us (I know they dont even allow conversations about us) lets forget about them and allow them their space as well?
I will not remove any valid concerns, but unnecessary (Mocking) comments about PF might be removed. I will also remove the PF names from Topics to prevent Google Search from picking up negative threads.
All our members are free to post links to PF if there is some helpful information, but please keep the name “Power Forum” out of negative topics descriptions. And if all of you are comfortable with it, try and use the abbreviation PF when you talk about them.
I would appreciate If we could let the past go and cut them some slack… Please?
Jason, I know you will read this, and when you do, I want you to know one thing. You and any of your members are free to join us, we welcome you all. We have no issues with helping and answering any of your questions, we know that you might have some answers to some of our questions.
