There is no such thing as soil in Cape Town. I spent my 4 years there trying to grow grass. Took me that long to figure out why kaapies only bother with the other kind of grass.

These things are a bit dangerous to put on an internal combustion fireplace. It pulls too much oxygen in and can damage it… Otherwise… Chop chop!
I dropped mine a bit as well. Chopped 30cm off and reinstalled the “hat” It works fine!
