good day,

I’m looking to replace my wyze security system which failed after I replaced the door sensor batteries with new batteries. Someone on the MyBB forum suggested zigbee stuff.

I have a few questions and please note I’m a complete novice when it comes to the home automation game so if it isn’t plug & play then I need a detailed tutorial slight_smile:

  1. Is there anyone here using zigbee stuff?

  2. what are the advantages / disadvantages using zigbee?

  3. can zigbee work with alexa?

  4. zigbee coverage?

  5. where to buy zigbee?

  6. mesh / nest or hub?

I’m looking to replace 10 door sensors / 3 motion sensors and maybe light switches & camera’s later on.
