Inverter feeding inverter

Thanks_a_a_a,

Must admit I only searched in Za and didn’t see that one. I might change my mind about the charge idea then :grinning:
Cheers
Kevin

Now that is another brilliant idea, thank you. I will have to find a way to connect to the battery as it is a single contained unit. Either introduce a bus bar or connect directly on the inverter terminals if feasible. My battery is a Deyness 10.24kw.
Thanks
Kevin

Busbar always works.

For years I connected my 250/100 direct to the battery terminals inside the inverter. Just a thought.

Titbit:
Connecting the MPPT direct to the inverter battery terminals … came to a spectacular discovery,
Sparkie was here, we switched everything off. The last test, switch on the inverter to discharge the caps.
As we switched on the inverter, it started right back up. Ghost in the machine much!
Forgot to switch off the panels.

If no one else gives a good reason why a 2nd hand older MP won’t word as a battery charger for a gennie, I’m so going to file it under “Good idea for when I need it”.
