I absolutely cannot see how “they” can fix Eskom.
- SA does not have the politicians behind it, as in speaking with one tongue and all of the backing it 100%,
- the money is gone,
- and there is no “time” left to build anything new even if they can do that without corruption, on time, and within budgets.
And now murmurs of “state of emergency”, Gordhan mentioning possibly a Stage 8 … yeah, nothing computes anymore.
Methinks, during one of these LS weeks, the entire system is going to derail catastrophically. A cascade of failures the “runs away” from Eskom, just like with anything really old and pushed at near max, above max.
