For house wiring only the likes of the members on this forum are likely to have a raceway (trunking?)
It’s a generic name for any pipe/path that contains a collection of wires. A length of conduit is also a “raceway”.
Armoured cable, for example, is considered to be in it’s own raceway at all times.

That’s a fire waiting to happen. That thin speaker wire needs a fuse… as does everything else.
